Vacuum trucks have traditionally been used to remove this water for transport and treatment at an offsite facility. While this may be a reasonable option for small quantities of water, the cost for offsite disposal escalates quickly when larger quantities of water are encountered. The use of mobile treatment systems offers a practical, cost-effective alternative for removing petroleum constituents and dissolved solvents from impacted water prior to discharge to local sewer systems.
