PSARA Technologies is pleased to announce that www.safteng.net, an industrial safety web site maintained by PSARA, was recognized today as the

SAFETY WEB SITE OF THE YEAR

by Worksafe Victoria, the Australian equivalent of our OSHA. The award was presented today to Bryan Haywood, PSARA’s Director of Industrial Services, via teleconference.

Safteng.net is a unique web-based resource for safety professionals and anyone else interested in access to current, accurate safety information. The site maintains an extensive collection of news stories, links, digital photos, and other resources. Through the site, PSARA and Mr. Haywood provide daily, weekly, and monthly technical publications, including Incident Alerts, the EH&S Newsletter, and PSARA Psolutions.

Safteng.net began as a personal project by Mr. Haywood and was originally maintained exclusively by him in his free time. When Bryan accepted a senior management position at PSARA, he brought his vision for the web site with him. Although Mr. Haywood is now supported by the safety, environmental, clerical, and IT resources of PSARA, he continues to manage the site and is solely responsible for its content. We congratulate Bryan and his entire team on this prestigious award!
