PSARA Compliance Tracker, when implemented in support of a comprehensive regulatory compliance plan or management system, provides environmental, health and safety (EHS) managers with the information they need to not only manage EHS regulatory compliance effectively and proactively, but also to assure executive management that environmental and safety compliance obligations are consistently being met. What is Compliance Tracker?
 COMPLIANCE TRACKER IS INCREASED EFFICIENCY. PSARA Compliance Tracker promotes EHS management success by alerting responsible associates of upcoming compliance events and documenting their successful completion. Once EHS management obligations have been entered into the system, PSARA Compliance Tracker automatically sends out e-mail alerts as each due date approaches. When a task has been completed, a simple mouse click is all it takes to close out the event.
PSARA Compliance Tracker manages three primary types of EHS events: action items identified as part of the facility’s Compliance Plan, findings generated from EHS compliance audits, and discrete tasks that are part of larger EHS management projects. It can tell you, for example, when the next round of quarterly storm water sampling is scheduled, the date by which an air permit application must be submitted, or the deadline for implementing new hazardous energy safeguards. For each activity, PSARA Compliance Tracker identifies the specific compliance area (Clean Air Act, NPDES, OSHA, etc.) and the associate responsible for completing and closing out the event.
 COMPLIANCE TRACKER IS IMPROVED ACCOUNTABILITY. In addition to managing day-to-day tasks, PSARA Compliance Tracker can generate reports on performance associated with successful close-out of active EHS management events. This allows EHS managers to document success for executive management and also to identify problem areas that may require closer attention. The result is the ability to create concise “snap shots” of EHS management status. And with PSARA Compliance Tracker, performance data can be sorted by virtually any discrete criteria.
